Hello! Long time no blog loh! It;s been a few wks! Lots of things happen, n they r memorable. Two wks ago, we had our insprational talk by Adam Khoo, or rather his trainer, Gary. He's highly entertaining n we spent de whole assembly laughing n laughing. How ever other den laughing, i tinkn wad he siad was really true, although some of them were really crappy, but den it really make sense.
I tink its true dat we should appreciate wad we hav now. I am starting 2 appreciate de sch now, n i tink i shud stop critisizing, but think abt de bright side of things now. Appreciate every thing i hav! Dats wad i will do frm now on!
Last wk i was sick. Tonsils again. On monday i really cannot tok n eat. Whn ever i swallow, not only does my thoroat hurt, my ear hurts oso!!! On tuesday actually i felt lyk nt goin 2 sch, cuz i'm having slight fever. My voice was really horrible. Although my throat didn't hurt, but when i speak, certain wrd were not audiuable at all, n no sound com out. When my voice came back, my voice went so low pitched. I really sounded very "man"! :P
O'level results was released last wk. Our sch's last yr sec 4 batch did extremely well. English, A-maths, E-maths, Geog, Physics n i dunno wad other subjects had hundred percent passes. N 98% of them could go to jc! Frm wad i heard, maths gt a lot of ppl obtained distinctions! Bro didn't do 2 badly, L1R5 14 points. Soso lah. Nt 2 bad, or rather, quite gd 4 him, a person who doesn't study much normally.
A few days ago, on de way frm de bus stop 2 de side gate, on ed way home, i saw smt extremely disgusting! Frm far away, i saw smt white n brown. I tod ot was leaves or wad so ever, n the stuff stretched for a long distance. Move even nearer, i tod it was vomit, or discarded damp cardboard. Move even nearer, i sae fur!!! De here comes the climax! Wheni walked directly beside de starting of the "dump, i saw a CAT"S HEAD, N FRONT PAWS FLATTENED ON THE ROAD LYK A PIECE OF CARPET!!!!!!!!!!!! There's a little bit of intestine i tink, n de rest i guess r eaten up by crows!!! Imagine the disgusted n shocked feeling!!! OMG it's totally TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!! The cat was run down by a car, n de remains of it was in bits n pieces on de floor! De next day when i went back, the cat skin was cleared already, but den de stain was still there. YUCKS!!!
Well, today we celebrated Chinese New Year in sch. It's real great fun man! De emcees, 2 prefects was wearing a disgustingly tight n nerdy chenong sam. De prefect denise was still ok, but de other 1 loooks a bit weird. We started wif the total defence day skit by de DEP gals, den de singing competition. De sec 4s damn pro lor, all rock bands 1, gt guitar n drums. De champion, i saw dem practicing at de void deck was real gd, n i predicted dey would win, n dey did! Hurray!!! Our class was 1st for lower sec performances. 3 cheers for our class! Hip hip hurray!
one of the highlights was de singing of our hcl teacher, ms chan. I was so stunned n shocked 2 c her on stage. De i really felt lyk fainting of shock n laughter, as well as de goosepiples sprouting oout of my skin when she started singing a chinese high pitched old song. Oh my gosh! It was really stunning n shocking!
The other highlight was de performance of the dragon n lion dance. De lion dance was so cute, especially de little boy acting as de da tou wawa. LOLS! he kept rolling in front of me twice le! Soooooo cute!!!!!! The ppl doing de liaon dance r teenagers. They r a troupe called nan shao lin xing shi tuan or smt lyk dat. Shao lin is mosly 4 youngsters, so i tink nt dat surprising lah! But dey were really great! De atmosphere in de hall was so damn high, n i clapped until my hands sore liao.
It's been a long week, wif CAs evey day. They r ok lah, but i tink i might not do so well for history. Now i must aim n practice hard for my grade 5 piano theory exam.
